SVN buying up flex industrial/office space and looking for more

A California company has acquired a $48 million, 12-property portfolio of industrial, office and flex space in the Dallas area, and is looking for more.

Irvine-based SVN Equities, a private investment and development company focused on office, industrial, retail and apartment properties nationwide, completed the acquisition of about 770,000 square feet of space in early February, company President Burton Young said. SVN started acquiring the properties more than a year ago, he said.
